Job Description

Responsibilities: 

• The Person will be responsible for all the planning and implementation of the activities of Dairy supply chain team, along with the Senior Manager Dairy supply chains, who heads the vertical.
• The person will have to stay and operate from Raigad.
• The person will help in setting up of new MCCs, as per the norms, wherever required and keep track of the businesses of the existing MCCs. Team will have to ensure the availability of milk in sufficient quantity at the MCC by adding more dairy farmers or increase milk yield per farmer.
• The person will look upon the implementation of AI program for dairy animals.
• The person will look upon the promotion of feeds and fodders required for the nutrition of Dairy animals.
• The Person will be expected to find gaps in the existing strategy, suggest rectifications and come out with new ideas/ innovations to enhance the existing dairy business in the geographies that Swades foundation works.
• The person will have to promote the dairy by-product business of the dairy entrepreneurs.
• Along with dairy supply chain, the person will have to look upon the insurance process of all animals supported by Swades, and ensure timely policy inception for the animals.
• The person may have to work across supply chains for other Animal husbandry services apart from Dairy as and when required.

Educational Qualification:

• Any Graduate/ Master Graduate.

Additional Skills:

• Good interpersonal skills to talk to Dairy entrepreneurs, farmers and other stakeholders in dairy business.
• Proficiency in Marathi language will be preferred.
• Proficient in MS office: Documentation, data handling & presentations.
• Should know the basics of dairy farming.
