About Jatan
Jatan Sansthan is a grassroots NGO working with the rural population in select districts of 
Rajasthan. Jatan Sansthan was formally registered in 2001 under the leadership of a senior 
educationist and development worker& social workers. Since its inception, most of its work has aimed to 
improve social and demographic indicators of the population of the selected districts of Rajasthan with a 
special focus on young people. In the past thirteen years, Jatan has worked on programs for young people, 
women, children, elected representatives, and marginalized communities.
Jatan strives to empower the youth of Rajasthan by giving them a platform where they can freely express their 
concerns. Jatan also provides them with information that would enable them to seek social and scientific 
solutions thereby helping them become agents of change in their communities.

Requirement
Position: - Cluster Coordinator

Type: - Full time (Cluster level)
Location: - Karauli Block (Karauli Dist. Rajasthan)
Interest: - Passionate about education, love to work with youth and children, enjoy engagement having with rural 
community 
Eligibility: - (Graduate + 3 years of prior experience in education sector) 
 3 years of experience with effective operational management
 Has an understanding of policies with respect to education initiatives of the government
 Empathetic for learners, curious about what makes a great learning experience
 Excellent in communication (Hindi and English), confident to coordinate complex operations and ability to 
manage stress while working in dynamic team 
 Believes in community support to be vital for improving learning conditions in schools
 Project management skill, Data management and data driven decision making
 Working with youth and willingness to take risks, experiment and learn from others as well as success and from 
failures
 Tech – friendly to present and advancement of project management

Major Responsibilities
 To support Shiksha Sathi in operations, resource management & building bridge between vision and 
on ground implementation 
 Leading 2-3 cluster, Managing team of young change maker(Siksha Sathi) to implement the project / 
programme deliverables 
 Planning , implementation and analysis – developing execution strategies and plan to work on target 
area and improving the learning outcome of students 
 Facilitate the capacity building of Siksha Sathi and programme weekly/monthly review meetings 
 Providing on-filed support through planned 2 field visit per Shiksha Mitra in a month. 
 Continuously provide inputs for strengthening the capacities of the peer educators to transact and be a 
catalyst for the project
 Facilitate learning festival / events/ meetings for the leadership development of the community 
volunteer/youth in the village through active participation in the various institutional committees for 
the village advancement
 Building effective rapport with stakeholders- influencing the authority for innovation in school
 Observe and provide valuable, meaningful and on time feedback to the Siksha Sathi – volunteer 
(Youth) for bringing quality for the sessions/ workshop.
 Data based documentation, developing data base profile 
 Participating proactively in block level internal meeting, stakeholder meeting
 On time submission of monthly – quarterly and annual reports to Assistant project officer.
