Deputy Director (Corporate Fundraising)

Reporting to: Head - Resource Development
Location: Head office (Delhi)
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Management, with a specialization in Sales & Marketing. Awareness of present CSR laws and the environment in India will be an added advantage.
  • 10-15 years of experience in business development, of which at least 5 years should be in Corporate Fundraising with a reputed and established NGO.

Role/ Responsibilities:

  • Promoting the elder cause and HelpAge India's Work among Corporate IndiaDevelop new corporate donor relationships, through referrals as well as the direct approach.
  • Reaching out to Corporate CSR for raising funds, by emailing, Linked In, phone calls, personal contacts, and any other sources.
  • Tracking RPFs and using e-mailing to reach a wide range of potential and current donors.
  • Active pre-sales research on companies and their net profits, CSR spends, CSR initiatives undertaken.
  • Convincing new corporates to give CSR grants while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters.
  • Attending networking events and seminars to meet and establish connections with corporate representatives.
  • Work with the programs department to deliver proposals and or information about our programs to interested companies.
  • Developing new and imaginative Corporate Fundraising methods.
  • Donor servicing and reporting on a regular basis to ensure retention and proper management of corporate donors.
  • Uphold and support the elder cause in day-to-day life.

Key Technical Attributes:

  • The candidate must be well-networked within the corporate sector; be able and willing to network extensively and effectively in order to build new donor relationships.
  • He/she should be a motivated and self-driven individual who is able and willing to work in a fast-paced environment, take on high targets, and meet stringent deadlines.
  • He/she should be a mature individual with an exceptional flair for selling and relationship management skills.
  • He/she should be able to handle corporate donors with sensitivity and tactfulness.
  • He/she should enjoy meeting and work with people.

Remuneration will be as per HelpAge India’s overall salary structure.
