Job Description
Position: Manager, PCOS Society, India
Status: Full time
Duration: This is until March 2025 with likely extension upon approval of project and performance of the candidate.
Supervisor: You will directly report to Founder President of PCOS Society, which is a medical professional Organisation. Led by Dr Duru Shah.
Location: The PCOS Society, Mumbai, Parel with regular travel to project sites
Proposed Job Description: The responsibilities of the Manager, PCOS includes (Not exhaustive):
Planning, Management and Coordination:
The candidate will be responsible for overall programme and operations management of the programme supported by PCOS Society. The candidate:
§ Oversee the projects’ planning and implementation in close consultation with the Founder President
§ Being one point of contact between various teams which will work on Project, the head office of the society and coordinators selected by the PCOS society.
§ Conducting google survey on PCOS with women who attend the live session through our outreach programme via questionnaire created by us for talks on PCOS in Mumbai and other cities.
§ Helping with Presentation (Content) to be shared by us.
§ Coordinate to organise advocacy workshop including logistics.
§ Promoting the CSR activity through social media handles of society and spreading awareness amongst the target audience
§ Organizing online session with suspected cases of PCOS based on questionnaire, with experts from PCOS society.
Project monitoring tracking sheet:
§ Develop MIS for the projects and prepare and review monthly dashboard.
§ Ensure regular and timely documentation of the activities in the project/s.
§ Provide timely fortnightly/monthly update to the supervisor.
Other Important responsibilities
§ Be part of the various meetings and prepare minutes and follow up.
§ Any other work within the framework of the PCOS Society as directed by the Supervisor.
Desired Competencies
o Excellent communication skills; proficiency in spoken and written English; should be able to also communicate verbally in Hindi if needed.
o High Organizational capabilities with optimal supervisory skills.
o Very good understanding of project management in the social sector and working with diverse communities.
o High capability in documentation and report writing.
o Basic knowledge of websites and Apps an added advantage.
