SPECTRA’ is a voluntary, non-profit and non-government organization, registered under Rajasthan society registration act 1958. SPECTRA’ has been working since 1996-97 in the rural and interior pockets of Rajasthan to fulfill the educational and other social needs and requirements of deprived rural population. Spectra org. is committed to a non-institutional approach, follows principle of democracy and promotes women’s participation in decision making as part of its program planning, monitoring and evaluation. The primary focus of SPECTRA is on the problems of the poor in their struggle to obtain a life of justice and dignity. Child Rights, women development and awareness generation, Environment stabilization, food-security, sanitation, education, rural industries for income generation, and empowerment of the community for self-governance are the most important components of its mission. Child and women Rights, Gender justice, youth empowerment, natural resource management, and livelihood security are our primary areas of concern.
Programs covered by SPECTRA include- Agricultural improvement, Wasteland improvement, Education, Rural industries for income generation, Development of alternative energy sources, Women empowerment, Sanitation, and Awareness generation programs. The core strategy of SPECTRA to develop an optimal mechanism for rural Society especially deprived sections, with commitment for sustainable livelihood & improved quality of life which is achieved through different developmental programs & effective application of local resources in association with community. About the Role
Society For Public Education Cultural Training And Rural Action (Spectra) is hiring a suitable candidate to work as Project Coordinator who will work with Project Advisor to ensure the project goals are achieved. Project Coordinator will also closely work with Academic facilitators and teachers (Field team) to implement the activities of Girl Child Education Program.
Reporting to- Project Advisor
Directly Managing-73 (Including 6 Academic facilitators and 67 teachers)
Key Responsibilities
· Chart out the plans for program implementation by Academic facilitators
· Monitoring of the learning centres; related documents and academic of enrolled girls as per their actual levels.
· Data compilation, submission of monthly and quarterly reports on given timeline by Donor Agency
· Validation of Academic Facilitator’s visit plan daily.
· To organize quarterly teacher’s training and assist the trainer in delivering the content
· To provide academic support to Teachers and Academic Facilitators through Online Sessions and Study Circle
· Preparing Plan and Agenda of CMC & Monthly teacher’s meeting.
· Monthly review of the project activities in ERM (External Review Meeting)
· Preparing guidelines for upcoming events and days which are celebrated every year.
· Updating monthly MIS (attendance, QCA and QTA Marks).
· Capacity building of academic facilitators through online sessions.
· Submission of bills, T.A log book and appointment letters on given timeline.
Experience & Qualification:-
· At least 2 years of total work experience in the development sector is required.
· Degree in Master in Social work is mandatory.
· Preference will be given to candidates with same work experience.
· Fresher can also apply if they have strong communication and report writing skill in English.
