Job Title: Assistant Manager/Manager – Marketing & Branding Project: District Haats Marketing & Branding Initiative under RAMP Location: Rajasthan (Urban & Rural Districts – Travel Required) Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Manager – Marketing & Branding Type: Full-Time, Contractual (Initially for 2 years, extendable) Job Summary: The Assistant Manager – Marketing & Branding will support the execution of marketing, branding, event management, and stakeholder coordination for transforming 14 identified district haats into vibrant market hubs. The role requires hands-on project coordination, vendor and partner engagement, digital and offline marketing oversight, and event execution assistance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Coordination & Implementation  Assist in site assessment of haats across 14 districts including logistics, accessibility, and infrastructure readiness.  Support the development of unique brand identities for each haat, ensuring uniformity and alignment with RAMP branding.  Maintain and regularly update the activity calendar and execution schedules. 2. Marketing & Promotions  Coordinate traditional and digital marketing campaigns including: o Newspaper advertisements o FM radio spots o Billboards and hoardings o Social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, X) o Google & social media ads o Cross-promotion using QR codes  Support in developing engaging content including blogs, videos, and live event coverage for the RAMP portal. 3. Event Management  Assist in planning and executing 7-day events in each haat including: o Inauguration ceremonies o Thematic exhibitions and cultural programs o Open mic sessions and folk performances  Coordinate logistics, vendor management, stall arrangements, signage, and seating plans.  Ensure quality assurance, crowd control, accessibility, cleanliness, and safety protocols are maintained. 4. Stakeholder Engagement  Collaborate with DICC officials, local authorities, industry associations, NGOs, and the Google Arts & Culture team.  Liaise with the agency managing IEC campaigns to align messaging across platforms.  Support partnerships and community networking efforts to enhance artisan and MSME participation. 5. Monitoring & Reporting  Collect event feedback from stakeholders, vendors, and participants using surveys and interviews.  Assist in compiling post-event reports including metrics on MSME participation, sales, product categories, digital engagement, and media coverage.  Ensure timely updates and content uploads to the RAMP portal, including location mapping and media integration. Key Deliverables:  Weekly progress updates on haat-specific marketing and branding activities.  Monthly content calendar and social media engagement reports.  Support documents and reports on event logistics, attendance, and outcomes.  Post-event summary reports for each haat within 15 days of event conclusion. Key Requirements: Education:  Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Event Management, or related fields. Experience:  5– years of relevant experience in marketing, branding, event coordination, or public engagement, preferably in government or development sector projects.  Experience in grassroots or artisanal marketing, rural promotion, or MSME branding is an added advantage. Skills:  Strong project coordination and organizational skills.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Proficiency in social media management and content development.  Knowledge of branding principles and local cultural themes.  Ability to travel across districts for on-site coordination.  Working knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital marketing tools. Preferred:  Fluency in Hindi and English (knowledge of Rajasthani dialects is a plus).  Familiarity with GI/ODOP products and traditional Rajasthani crafts.  Experience working with government departments or donor-funded programs. Compensation: Commensurate with experience and as per industry standards. Travel and field-related expenses will be reimbursed as per project policy
