About Industree
Industree Foundation is an inspirational social enterprise that has been working on scaling of 
Regenerative economies, with a focus on underserved artisanal women producers for the last 24 
years. Neelam Chhiber’s work with Industree resulted in it being chosen as the Schwab 
Foundation/World Economic forum's Schwab Social Entrepreneur of the Year for India in 2011, she is 
also WomanChangeMakers Fellow 2013 (Womanity Foundation) and has recently been awarded the 
ET Evoke Social Entrepreneur Award 2020 by Economic Times. Industree works with a womencentered approach in communities to equip them with the necessary skills and tools to set up 
collectively owned enterprises close to their homes and yet a part of mainstream value chains. This 
has resulted in much greater economic security and has led to significant social gains such as better 
nutrition, education, health care and improved resilience. Having already impacted 1,75,000 
producers, it is now looking at further national and global scale.
Mission Creative Million is an initiative aimed to strengthen millions of producers (majority being 
women) in the next 10 years, to achieve economic impact (including regular work, increased wages 
and financial stability), social impact (improved agency and voice for women at home and in their 
communities) and environmental impact, as reduced migration and circular economies are key focus 
areas. Industree works extensively in apparel and lifestyle value chains with great potential to herald 
in supply chains of the future, that have positive social and environmental footprints. The producers 
supply to mainstream supply chains like IKEA via its Social Entrepreneurs program, H&M Home and 
FabIndia.
Industree is currently building out missing pieces of the ecosystem, as part of its systems change 
approach. Key amongst them is a national and global scale accelerator -Regenearth, to enable its
learning be seeded across the MSME space in Creative Manufacturing.
The Platform for Inclusive Entrepreneurship, PIE, is being developed as a Societal Platform (CC BY 
ND 4.0 International License, EkStep Foundation, http://www.societalplatform.org), 
http://www.pie.foundation and is the means to achieve non-linear scale. 
Liberate - Livelihoods Blended Finance is its solution to enable critical working capital needs for the 
sector and Flourish being launched in 2021, is conceptualised as a brand, the AMUL of Creative 
Manufacturing, that creates maximum value for producers and consumers.
Industree actively dialogues and collaborates with the World Bank, the World Economic Forum, 
USAID, UNDP, Govt of India, Ethiopian Govt. and Catalyst 2030 to accelerate the growth and reach of 
its programs. Industree’s work on building the ecosystem is currently supported by funders and 
investors that include USAID, HSBC, Target Foundation, British Asian Trust, Mastercard Center for 
Inclusive Growth, Bank of America, HT Parikh Foundation, Fidelity, HCL, National skill Development 
Corporation, Grassroots Business Fund and International Trade Center, Geneva. It has also been able

Roles & Responsibilities 
• Research and pursue funding opportunities.
• Support the development, maintenance, and execution of the fundraising and development 
plan.
• Actively work on proposal development- proposal design, preparation of Logical Framework 
Approach (LFA) and writing.
• Support in the development of fundraising and promotional materials.
• External Stakeholder management- reporting and monitoring and evaluation through the full 
project cycle.
• Internal stakeholder management- co-ordinate with teams to ensure program success by 
aligning and motivating teams to achieve program objectives and adhere to timelines.
• Where required, liaise with Communications department on program-specific and relevant 
communications.
• Ensure strict compliance with donor and federal regulations.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
• 3-5 years of experience in grants management and/or fundraising and development at a nonprofit organization.
• Understanding and experience in preparation of Logical Framework Approach for proposal 
development.
• Experience prospecting new donors, identifying funding opportunities, developing proposals 
(including financial proposals) and managing contracting of new grants.
• Experience managing complex projects and budgets with tight timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• High attention to detail.
