The Bhumi Fellowship is a two-year paid leadership development programme designed to develop future leaders committed to transforming education in India. The fellowship focuses on hands-on teaching experience, school transformation, leadership development, and systemic change to address challenges such as low learning outcomes, inequity, and poor governance in the education system.
Responsibilities and Duties
- The Fellow will work directly in schools to support teaching and learning improvement
- The role involves implementing school transformation initiatives and classroom interventions
- The Fellow will engage with students, teachers, and school leadership to strengthen education systems
- The position includes participation in intensive training and leadership development programmes
- The Fellow will contribute to problem-solving and innovation in education delivery
