MP Voluntary Health Association (MPVHA) is a non-profit making organization, Registered under Society Registration Act. Organization is working in the field of community health promotion for more than five decades in the state of MP.

Looking for Block Coordinators under the project “Improving vaccine confidence and demand for routine immunization to reduce Zero Dose children in most marginalized and vulnerable population of Madhya Pradesh”.

Background: The Zero-Dose and Routine Immunization Project aims to address the challenges and gaps in reaching "zero-dose" children—those who have not received any routine vaccines—and to strengthen routine immunization (RI) services for better community health outcomes. Zero-dose children often belong to the most vulnerable populations, including those in remote, underserved, or marginalized communities. These children are at higher risk of preventable diseases and are more susceptible to outbreaks, posing a threat to public health. Through the Zero-Dose and Routine Immunization Project, we aim to improve health equity and protect communities against vaccine-preventable diseases, ultimately contributing to the overall health and well-being of children and their families within the district.

Qualification: Should be a PG in social sciences/ Mass Comm/Rural development/MSW with 02 years of experience in health programme and RMNCHA. Experience in immunization/vaccination program or have experience in same nature of project will be an additional advantage. Local candidate will be preferred.

Changes in blocks may occur during the project period. Block Coordinator may be deputed to other blocks / may have to relocate.

Essential:
1.Good liaison skills with the block level officials.
2.Capable to plan, lead, monitor and coordinate with the FLW’s and Field volunteers for community mobilization.
3.Ready to do extensive travel in the blocks.
4.Having good computer (MS Excel, MS Word & Power point ) with data based management and documentation skills.
5.Have android mobile for reporting.
6.Have a valid driving license.

Role:
1: BC will undertake 20 days field visits in a month.
2: He/she will cover 160 House Hold in a month.(I.e. 7 to 8 HH/Day). He/She will cover all Sub Center areas identified as High Priority for Zero Dose.
3: Will monitor and facilitate the identified children registration in UWIN with ANM Records.
4: Monitor whether the identified ZD left out children have reached to Service facilities/VHSND for vaccination.
5: Availability of required ZD vaccines with ANM during VHSND.
6: Provide necessary inputs, If required to improve counselling provided by ANM.
7: Identify community platforms for mobilization in the block and SHC village areas.
8. Identify and develop a database of influencers in the block to coordinate with.
9: Coordination with CSOs, CBOs and other stakeholders(Influencers, traditional healers. PRIs, ULB’s) to get support for immunization of zero dose children.
10: Participate in Block Task Force meeting.
11: Build a database of of influencers, CBOs, FBOs, Youth Clubs, Tribal Hostels and other formal and informal institutions at block level.
14: Support in campaigns like IMI, MR, Polio or any other campaign for new vaccines.
15:Support block officials and blocks team in identifying zero dose children / families, vaccine hesitant families ( maintain a record of the children) and plan to convert them for acceptance.
15: Support block immunization team and FLWs for mobilizing communities , families for registration of ZD children in UWIN.
16: Documenting case studies, best practices, testimonials. Share content ( bytes, interviews, videos, photos) with CSOs team during campaigns ( IMI, MR, polio).
17: Reporting in Dashboard/MIS on regular basis.
18: Preparing and sharing daily updates to District Coordinator.
19: Preparation of Monthly Reports and sharing with District Coordinator.
20: Facilitate block team in  development of communication plans with integration of zero dose children.
21: Perform activities as and when required under the project.

On contract: For 12 months including, 03 months observation/probation period.

Remuneration: Rs. 22,000/- pm (Twenty two thousand) Deduction as per the law applicable.
