About Us:

Parmarth Samaj Sevi Sansthan is a grassroots organization dedicated to water crisis mitigation in the water-stressed Bundelkhand region of UP & MP since 1996. Our mission is to bring about qualitative improvements in the lives of vulnerable communities through integrated interventions in water conservation, sustainable agriculture, community development, and empowerment initiatives. Parmarth collaborates closely with stakeholders including government bodies, corporate entities, and local communities to foster sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Cluster Coordinator:

·         Engage with the community and build rapport under the guidance of PCs.

·         Form and strengthen community-based organizations, facilitate monthly meetings, and support water conservation initiatives.

·         Organize and follow up on capacity-building trainings and events for community members.

·         Mobilize the community to create and revive water bodies, ensuring their contribution and ownership.

·         Promote behavioural changes for efficient water use.

·         Facilitate internal and external monitoring visits.

·         Perform tasks as assigned to meet project objectives.

·         Adhere to the organization’s HR, Finance, and Gender policies.

·         Maintain project reports, documents, and MIS information regularly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in community development, water management, or related fields.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse community stakeholders.
• Proven track record in organizing and facilitating community meetings and workshops.
• Proficiency in Hindi and English languages.
