Parmarth Samaj Sevi Sansthan is a grassroots development organization working since 1996 towards water crisis mitigation in the water-stressed Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Parmarth has strong expertise in water stewardship and works closely with multiple stakeholders including government departments, corporate partners (CSR), local institutions, and communities. The organization implements interventions in areas such as water conservation, watershed development, river rejuvenation, sustainable agriculture, sanitation and waste management, women empowerment, education, and skill development.

Position Overview

Parmarth Samaj Sevi Sansthan is seeking a motivated and experienced Cluster Coordinator to support field-level implementation, coordination, and monitoring of project activities under water stewardship and rural development initiatives in Khamgaon cluster.

Detailed Job Description (JD)

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

1. Field Implementation & Coordination

• Coordinate and supervise implementation of project activities at village/cluster level
• Ensure timely execution of interventions related to water conservation, agriculture, WASH, and community development
• Support field teams and Community Resource Persons (CRPs) in activity planning and execution

2. Community Mobilization & Institution Building

• Strengthen community institutions such as Pani Panchayat, Women Groups (Jal Saheli), and farmer groups
• Facilitate community meetings, trainings, and awareness programs
• Promote participatory planning and community ownership

3. Agriculture & Water Interventions

• Support implementation of climate-resilient agriculture practices and water management interventions
• Coordinate activities related to micro-irrigation, crop planning, and water budgeting
• Assist in identifying sites for water conservation structures

4. Convergence & Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with Gram Panchayats, government departments, and local stakeholders
• Facilitate convergence with schemes such as VB-G RAM G, PMKSY, etc.

5. Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain field-level data, records, and documentation
• Prepare progress reports, case studies, and activity reports
• Support monitoring and evaluation processes

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s / Graduate degree in Civil Engineering or Agriculture
• Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in development sector
• Experience in field implementation, community engagement, and rural projects

Required Competencies

• Strong understanding of rural development, water conservation, and agriculture practices
• Experience in working with community institutions and grassroots stakeholders
• Good coordination, communication, and facilitation skills
• Ability to manage field operations and multitask effectively

Preferred Skills

• Experience in NGO / CSR projects
• Knowledge of government schemes and field convergence
• Basic understanding of water structures and agriculture systems
• Strong documentation and reporting skills

Language Requirement

• Proficiency in Marathi (mandatory)
• Basic understanding of Hindi/English preferred

Compensation & Other Details

• Salary: As per organizational norms and candidate experience
• Travel: Field-based role requiring regular travel within project villages
