Location: District-based (Barabanki/ Lucknow) with extensive local travel

Salar y: Up to ₹50,000 per month (inclusive of TDS)

Role Summar y:
The Communication & Online Marketing Officer will lead the organization’s
communication, branding and digital marketing efforts to enhance visibility, promote
project outcomes, product sales and strengthen market linkages for community based
enterprises. The role involves creating compelling content, managing digital platforms,
supporting product promotion (e.g., FPO products), sales and documenting field
impact stories for donors, partners and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communication & Content Development
 Develop and implement the organization’s communication and visibility plan.
 Create high quality content including product’s photos with details, success
stories, case studies, blogs, newsletters, brochures and impact reports.
 Document field activities through photography, short videos and interviews.
2. Digital & Online Mar keting
 Manage and regularly update social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram,
LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp Business, etc.).
 Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns for products, services and
project initiatives.
 Support online promotion of FPO products (catalogues, posts, reels, short
videos, marketplace listings).
 Monitor engagement, reach and basic analytics to improve content
performance.
3. Br anding & Visibility
 Ensure consistent use of organizational branding guidelines across all
materials.
 Design or coordinate the design of posters, banners, flyers, packaging content,
and digital creatives.
 Support participation in exhibitions, fairs and promotional events.
4. Website & Digital Assets
 Coordinate updates to the organization’s website and online portfolios.
 Maintain organized digital archives of photos, videos and communication
materials.
5. Inter nal & Exter nal Coor dination
 Work closely with program teams to capture stories and field updates.
 Coordinate with designers, printers, media partners and digital agencies when
required.
 Support communication with donors, CSR partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Exper ience:
 Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Digital
Media, Development Communication, or related field.
 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications and digital marketing
(experience in NGO/social sector preferred).
 Experience in promoting rural enterprises, FPOs, or social brands is an added
advantage.
 Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, ONDC, Meesho,
etc.).
Skills & Competencies:
 Excellent writing skills in English and Hindi (local language knowledge is a
plus).
 Strong photography and basic video shooting/editing skills (mobile or camera).
 Hands-on experience with social media management tools and content
creation platforms (Canva, Meta tools, etc.).
 Understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO basics, paid ads, analytics
is a plus).
 Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
 Willingness to travel to field locations for documentation.
Desir able (Added Advantage):
 Experience in branding and packaging for rural/FPO products.
 Graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.).
