Location: District-based (Jhansi/Lalitpur/Barabanki) with extensive local travel
Repor ting To: Senior Program Lead
Employment Type: Full-time
Salar y: Up to ₹25,000 per month (inclusive of TDS)

Role Summar y:
The District Program Lead will be responsible for planning, implementing and
managing project activities at the block & villages level to ensure timely delivery of
program objectives. The role requires close coordination with field teams, community
institutions, government departments and partner organizations to achieve sustainable
livelihood and social development outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pr ogr am Planning & Implementation
Lead end-to-end implementation of project activities in the assigned areas.
Prepare the work plans, budgets and implementation schedules.
Ensure achievement of program targets, milestones and outcomes.
2. Team Leader ship & Capacity Building
Supervise and mentor block-level and field staff.
Build team capacity through regular training, reviews and field support.
Ensure effective task allocation and performance management.
3. Stakeholder Coor dination
Liaise with district administration, line departments, FPOs, community
institutions and partner NGOs.
Represent the organization in district, block & villages level meetings and
forums.
Facilitate convergence with government schemes and programs.
4. Monitor ing, Evaluation & Repor ting
Track program progress using defined indicators and MIS tools.
Ensure timely and quality reporting to donors and senior management.
Document best practices, success stories, and lessons learned.
5. Financial & Compliance Management
Monitor plan, budgets and expenditures.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor guidelines and
statutory requirements.
Support audits and internal reviews.
6. Community Engagement & Sustainability
Promote community ownership and participatory approaches.
Support strengthening of local institutions for long-term sustainability.
Address field-level challenges through adaptive and innovative solutions.
Requir ed Qualifications & Exper ience:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Agriculture,
Management or related field.
Minimum 6–8 year s of experience in development programs, with at least 4–5
year s in a leader ship r ole.
Strong understanding of livelihoods, agriculture, FPOs, women empowerment
or community development programs.
Experience working with government systems and grassroots institutions.

Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and MIS/reporting tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within the field areas.
Desir able Attr ibutes:
Prior experience in FPOs, women institutions or livelihood-focused projects.
Knowledge of local language and district context.
