Position: Field Executive – *IEC & Community Mobilization*
Department: Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban)
Location: Field Areas / ULB / Project Sites [Near Bhopal (M.P.) area]
Reporting To: IEC Coordinator / Project Manager
1. Job Summary
The Field Executive will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring IEC activities under the Swachh Bharat Mission. The role focuses on community awareness, behaviour change communication (BCC), stakeholder engagement, field coordination, and ensuring on-ground execution of all IEC interventions.
2. Key Responsibilities
•    Conduct door-to-door awareness campaigns on waste segregation, home composting, sanitation, and cleanliness.
•    Interact with community leaders, SHGs, youth groups, and RWAs to promote SBM objectives.
•    Organize group meetings, street plays, rallies, and public participation events.
•    Ensure behaviour change communication (BCC) messages reach all households.
•    Support in organizing workshops, training sessions, and capacity-building programs.
•    Assist in preparing field reports, photos, videos, and documentation of activities.
•    Maintain daily activity reports, attendance sheets, beneficiary lists, and field feedback.
•    Submit photographs, videos, and written reports of each IEC activity.
•    Assist in preparing progress reports and monthly performance summaries.
3. Educational Qualification
•    Minimum: Graduate in any discipline (Social Work, Rural Development, Environment Science preferred or any discipline).
4. Experience
•    1–3 years in community development, social work, NGO projects, or sanitation-related programs.
•    Experience in SBM, waste management, or government projects is an added advantage.
5. Skills
•    Strong communication and public interaction skills.
Ability to conduct awareness sessions and mobilize large groups.
•    Basic knowledge of solid waste management and sanitation practices.
•    Good documentation, reporting, and MS Office skills.
•    Ability to travel extensively within the project area.
