Location: District-based (Jhansi/Lalitpur/Mahoba/Barabanki/Jaunpur) with extensive
local travel
Repor ting To: Senior Program Lead/ Project Lead– Marketing
Employment Type: Full-time
Salar y: Up to ₹15,000 per month (inclusive of TDS)

Role Pur pose:
The Field Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, handholding,
and on-ground capacity building support to community members, women & youth,
farmer groups, and producer groups. The role focuses on enhancing skills, knowledge
and adoption of best practices related to livelihoods, agriculture, enterprise
development, marketing and social inclusion through practical, field based learning
approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tr aining & Capacity Building
 Plan and conduct need based trainings for women, farmers, women
entrepreneurs, youth and producer groups.
 Deliver practical, participatory and demonstration based training sessions at
village and cluster levels.
 Develop and adapt training modules, manuals and IEC materials as per local
context and literacy levels.
2. Field Handholding & Demonstr ation
 Provide regular on field handholding support to trainees to ensure application
of learning.
 Support demonstration plots, model units and pilot interventions for
livelihoods and agriculture activities.
 Guide beneficiaries on improved practices, productivity enhancement, quality
control and sustainability.
3. Community Mobilization
 Mobilize community members for trainings, exposure visits, demos and
learning events.
 Encourage women’s participation, leadership and inclusion of marginalized
groups in all training activities.
4. Coor dination & Conver gence
 Coordinate closely with field teams, community institutions and local resource
persons.
 Facilitate convergence with government departments, KVKs, line agencies
and technical partners for specialized training support.
5. Monitor ing, Repor ting & Documentation
 Maintain training calendars, attendance records and training reports.
 Track adoption of skills and practices by beneficiaries post training.
 Document case studies, success stories and best practices from the field.
Quality & Compliance
 Ensure training delivery aligns with project objectives, quality standards, and
donor guidelines.
 Follow safeguarding, gender, and inclusion protocols during all field
interactions.
Qualifications & Exper ience:
 Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal
Husbandry, Rural Development, Social Work or a related field.
 Minimum 2–3 years of experience in field training, extension services or
capacity building in rural settings.
 Experience in conducting adult learning and participatory rural trainings is
highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
 Strong facilitation and communication skills in Hindi (local dialect knowledge
preferred).
 Hands on knowledge of livelihoods, agriculture or enterprise related
interventions.
 Ability to translate technical concepts into simple, practical messages.
 Willingness to travel extensively and work in rural communities.
 Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation preferred.
