Roles & Responsibilities.

We seek a highly experienced and motivated General Manager with minimum 8 years of experience in the development sector, social sector, or corporate social responsibility (CSR). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and executing large-scale projects, with a demonstrated ability to deliver impactful outcomes aligned with organizational goals. This role demands strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to driving social change.

Project Planning and Execution:

 Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of projects in the development/social/CSR sector.

 Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

 Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Stakeholder Management:

   Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, non governmental organizations (NGOs), corporate partners, and community groups. Foster strong relationships to ensure alignment and support for project objectives. Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to stakeholders and senior management.

Team Leadership:

  Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and high performance work environment. Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.

Technical Expertise:

     Provide technical guidance and support to the team, leveraging expertise Ensure the effective integration of innovative and creative approaches in project activities. Stay updated with the latest technological trends and advancements relevant to the project's goals. Spearhead new initiatives in technology and innovation, driving cutting-edge solutions and projects. Mentor and guide the team on technology projects, providing hands-on support and guidance as needed.

 Oversee and manage all ATL labs, ATL Vans, Digital labs, and other technology related initiatives.

  Foster strong relationships with relevant Government bodies, ensuring effective collaboration and partnership. Stay abreast of the latest technologies, including AI, Data Science, and Coding etc and apply this expertise to drive innovation and growth in the Organisation.

Financial Management

:   Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting of financial performance. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and donor requirements.

Monitoring and Evaluation:   Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess project impact and effectiveness. Utilize data and feedback to drive improvements and enhance project outcomes. Strategic Development:

   Strategize to deliver a program that exceeds the expectations of clients, stakeholders & beneficiaries. Identify external trends & potential synergies with the ecosystem players. Advocate for the organization’s mission and values in external forums and networks. Competencies and Abilities

   Experience with digital tools and platforms for project management and communication. Knowledge of local languages and cultural contexts relevant to the project locations. Familiarity with international development frameworks and standards.

Qualification & Experience:        Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in the development sector, social sector, or CSR. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects with measurable social impact. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in diverse and challenging environments.
