 Employment Contract Length: Two-year fixed term contract
 Salary: 8.4-10.8 Lakhs per annum

About the role:

The core objective of this role is to support the implementation, integration, and scale-up of inclusive education interventions. This includes facilitating teacher capacity building, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring an effective rollout within government systems while adhering to project timelines. The position is focused on impacting learning outcomes through an effective teacher professional development program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capacity Building & Training Support: Facilitate orientation and training sessions for SCERT, DIET, SRGS, Master Trainers (MTs), and teachers to enable effective cascade training. 
  • Resource Contextualisation: Refine and strengthen inclusive education (IE) learning resources and digital modules based on field feedback and implementation needs.
  • Implementation & Rollout: Support the execution of IE interventions and digital training initiatives across districts in alignment with state priorities
  • System Integration: Integrate inclusive pedagogy into existing teacher training systems, academic support tools, and classroom practices.
  • Monitoring & Quality Assurance: Conduct field visits and use tracking tools to monitor implementation; develop strategies to improve participant engagement and completion.

    Assessment & Documentation: Assist in developing assessment tools to track training effectiveness and document teacher practices, case studies, and impact stories.

Required Skills & Experience-

  • Education & Experience: A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Education (Special/Inclusive Education preferred) or teacher development. Requires 2-3 years of experience in inclusive education teacher training.

     

     

  •  

    Practical Expertise: Demonstrated hands-on experience working directly with learners with disabilities is essential for field-based understanding.

     

  •  

    Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders using inclusive approaches such as sign language or Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) where applicable.

     

  •  

    Policy Knowledge: Familiarity with Indian national policies and frameworks like NEP 2020 and the RPwD Act 2016.

     

  •  

    Instructional Design: Ability to translate inclusive education concepts into practical, classroom-level strategies for educators.

     

  •  

    Specialized Knowledge: Proficiency in classroom management strategies for specific needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Behaviour Management, or Specific Learning Disabilities.

     

  •  

    Language: Proficiency in Bangla, Kokborok, or other dialects of Tripura is preferred.
