Job Title: Livelihood Expert 
Reports to: Team Leader
Location: Amgaon,Gondia (MH)
Job Type: Full-time

About Us:
Indian Grameen Services is dedicated to improving the livelihoods of vulnerable communities. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Livelihood expert to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Livelihood expert will be responsible for designing plan, implementing support for MGNREGA works , and monitoring livelihood activities adaptation by farmers that aim to improve the income of our target communities. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct livelihood assessments and analyses to identify opportunities and challenges for economic development in target communities.
2. Design and implement livelihood activities including training, capacity building of SHG/VO/Farmers initiatives.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including community leaders and  government department officials for convergence with MGNREGA cell.

4. Monitor and evaluate livelihood progress, identify lessons learned, and make recommendations for improvement.

5. Provide technical guidance and support to the  team.

Requirements:
1. Master's degree/Bachelor's  degree in Agriculture or rural development field.
2. At least 3 to 4 years of experience in livelihood development, community engagement, and project facilitation through MGNREGA.
3. Strong understanding of livelihood concepts, including PoP adoption and other agricultural practices.
4. Experience working with vulnerable communities, including SHG/VO, and marginalized groups.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Desired Qualifications:
1. Experience working in development sector with NRM and Agriculture allied projects.
2. Knowledge of Marathi/Hindi and English languages.
3. Mobile /Laptop/ Bike will self.
