ROLE DESCRIPTIONThe manager oversees the communication , reporting , financials including funding and budgeting , student engagement activities , special initiatives etc for all the scholarships and  projects under the vertical .

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Excel Manager will be responsible for communication, reporting, financials including funding and budgeting, student engagement activities , special initiatives etc for all the  scholarships and projects under the vertical and perform a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:Project Communication , reporting and research·         Work with communication team for all social media and other related communication for all projects

·         Write and do quality check of reports on all the projects for PH and management

·         Review the quality of the communication with the project teams on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

·         Prepare presentations for various project related requirements including monthly and quarterly reviews .

·         Assist with research required for the projects.

Project financials ·         Assist in the preparation of budget across all projects·         Monitor all budgeted project expenditures across projects on a regular basis and budget utilization as per budgeted financials

·         Assist teams in budget projections and monitor plan vs actuals

·         Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation

Project student engagement

·         To ideate, execute and monitor student engagement activities across projects·         To come up with innovative activities as per requirements of each project·         To facilitate student engagement activities and provide effective feedback on the activities being conducted

Project Special initiatives

·         Assist teams in any special initiatives undertaken for the projects

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS :

Educational QualificationPost-graduation or Masters Degree in Management ( finance and marketing ) / MBA/ Post-graduation or Masters in Social Work/Social Sciences / Education. Experience in handling both communication and finance  is a must .

Years of Experience10+ Years in social sector, project planning or educational sector

Age32+ Years

·         Critical thinking capacity and ability to think-out of the box

OTHER SKILLS·         Learning Orientation: accepts mistakes and continuously seeks new knowledge and skills·         Excellent presentation, public speaking, negotiation and interpersonal skills·         Demonstrated experience utilizing an influential style of leadership

·         Strong computer and technology skills, with familiarity in using computer and web based applications (Microsoft Office Applications especially Excel, online portals for MIS)

JOB SPECIFICATIONS :

Salary87k per month

Hours of WorkHours of work 8 hours 6 days a week (alternate  Saturdays are weekly offs)

Working ConditionsThe job can involve working conditions that include 8  hour shifts between 8 am to 7 pm. There are two  week offs in a month apart from casual and privilege  leaves. This job will also involve working in  challenging community areas with infrastructural  and other disadvantages.
