A leading CSR is a not-for-profit company registered under the Companies Registration Act 2013 in 2019. It’s the CSR implementing arm of leading Pvt. Ltd. & it’s associate companies, which are part of the Organisation.

Outreach: CSR has impacted lives of 12.25+ beneficiaries from 960+ villages from 10 states and 2 UT.

Area of Work:

  • Livelihood – Working with women, youths, farmers and tribal population; and helping them to start and improve their business at an individual and group level. Building their capacity on technical and business aspects of agriculture and allied Building sustainable community level institutions such as FPOs, Producer Groups, SHGs. Providing employment linked skill development courses to the youths and help nurture local level entrepreneurs. Promoting livelihood and employment opportunities in the area of waste processing.
  • Environment and Natural Resource Management – Working with the communities to conserve and revive natural resources such as water, land, forest and Use of renewable sources of energy and help them to adopt sustainable livelihood activities. Helping communities to adopt practise of less usage of single use plastics.
  • Education – Providing remedial classes to the neediest students coming from the underserved and vulnerable communities. Helping them with quality education and engaging them sports activities. Running Youth Resource Centres, and which provide necessary education, counselling and training related services of students from under-served communities.
  • Inclusive Community Development – Addressing critical need in the communities where we operate. Running a school for especially abled children and youths.

About the Role:

CSR is at the stage of growth, where the foundation is scaling up its successful interventions to nearby geographies. The foundation has been implementing CSR projects in 84 villages around the intervention area. The interventions are implemented in coordination with the plant team.

CSR is looking out for a seasoned professional to lead the Gujarat team and work towards the expansion of its interventions in partnership with various line departments, and with like-minded organization and Corporates.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Designing & Management:

  1. Lead all CSR projects and programs in Gujarat state and in partnership with relevant line departments and like-minded organization
  2. Work with the team to conduct situational analysis, need assessment and participatory planning for all it’s interventions. Capture baseline along all KPIs
  3. End to End project management – project formulation to implementation, monitoring, review, reporting, documentation
  4. Budgeting and Management of Project Finance
  5. Liaise with local management and relevant line departments to ensure smooth functioning, coordination, and strategic alignment of CSR interventions

Team Building and Management:

  1. Identify and build a high performing team of professionals and field level workforce
  2. Manage team’s life-cycle requirements – Performance Appraisal, Review Periodic Performance, Address key HR related issues in consultation with the HO level HR team and which is in line with the foundation’s HR policy
  3. Responsible to keep the team motivated and ensure their participation and performance

Innovation, Scalability and Sustainability:

  1. Incubate new impactful projects aligned with CSR vision and
  2. Scale-up successful interventions in partnerships and collaborations
  3. Integrate innovative models and know-how in the projects to bring efficiency and effectiveness
  4. Work towards the self-sustenance of projects and community-based institutions Any-other work assigned by the Reporting Manager and Head of CSR

Key Requisites:

Education:

  1. PG/MBA/Masters in Social Work/Rural Management/Entrepreneurship or related field from a reputed institution – IRMA/XISS/XIDAS/IIFM/XIMB/DSW/TISS/EDI

Experience:

  1. At least a total of 10 years of work experience in the field of CSR/NGO, with a minimum of 5 years in the role of Manager and above
  2. Should have managed a set of teams – Operations, Accounts, Field Level Workforce
  3. Preference would be given to:
    1. Professional who has managed/led CSR interventions of at-least 2 crores in a CSR
    2. Worked with line departments

Thematic Expertise (essential):

  1. Livelihood – Farm and Non-Farm Based or
  2. Artisan Based Livelihood Preferred:
  3. Waste to Resource based livelihood
