Position Name: PPSF Fellow (Field Coordinator)
Salary: Rs 25,000 – Rs 30,000
Location: Nashik, Maharashtra
Vacancies: 3
Experience: 3–4 years
Educational Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree (Graduation) in any discipline is mandatory.
• A Master's degree (Post-graduation) will be given preference.
• Candidates holding a BSW / MSW degree will be given special preference.
Role Overview:
• The 'PPSF Fellow' is a strictly field-based role. The primary responsibility involves effectively managing the entire application lifecycle to facilitate access to various government schemes for citizens and entrepreneurs.
• In this role, the incumbent is expected to work directly in the fields of Environment, Agriculture, Livelihoods, Health, and Education; furthermore, coordinating among government departments, local stakeholders, and beneficiaries is also a key requirement. Application Management:
• Identifying and selecting relevant government schemes
• Verifying applicant eligibility and documentation
• Filling, submitting, and regularly following up on applications
• Managing and tracking the status of applications
Stakeholder Coordination:
• Working directly in the fields of environment, agriculture, livelihoods, health, and education
• Understanding and resolving issues faced by beneficiaries
• Maintaining regular contact and coordination with government departments
• Resolving bottlenecks encountered during the approval process
• Providing appropriate guidance to beneficiaries
• Submitting reports regarding field-level initiatives
Team Management:
• Providing training and guidance to Local Resource Persons (LRPs)
• Explaining application procedures, documentation requirements, and workflows
• Guiding the team in the sectors of environment, agriculture, livelihoods, health, and education
• Monitoring team performance
• Coordinating village-level initiatives
Reporting:
• Regularly updating application data
• Utilizing a 'data-driven' approach to resolve village-level issues
Tracking the following metrics/parameters:
• Applications submitted and reports generated
• Applications approved/rejected
• Processing time (Turnaround time)
• Submitting regular reports to superiors
Field Work:
• Spending more than 80% of one's time working directly in the field
• Actively participating in projects related to environment, agriculture, health, education, and livelihoods
• Analyzing beneficiary needs and implementing appropriate solutions
Requirements/Experience:
• 3-4 years of experience in the following areas:
• Government schemes
• Field operations
• Direct field-level work experience in the sectors of environment, agriculture, livelihoods, health, and education
• Application processing Process Handling
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of Data Management
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective coordination and team management abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work; a proactive attitude
Other Expectations:
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel
• 6-day work week
• Readiness to accept a field-based role
• A sense of ownership and responsibility towards work
• Possession of a personal laptop and a two-wheeler is mandatory
