Taj City Rickshaws Project:
The Taj City Rickshaws project in Agra envisages providing direct long-term employment and entrepreneurship opportunities to 50 women from economically challenged households. The project aims at creating a triple-bottom-line impact: (1) Economic empowerment of the women entrepreneurs (2) Improving agency and social status of these women entrepreneurs as equity owners (in the Pink City Rickshaw Co.), and (3) Use of electric rickshaws under the project will have a positive environmental impact, reducing emissions in the city.
Position Summary:
ACCESS is inviting applications from self-driven professionals who are interested to take on the role of Project Lead and
delivering against the objectives of the project. The Project Lead will be responsible for timely and high-quality
implementation of the project in designated areas in Agra, reaching out to entrepreneurs as per the objectives and deliverables of the project.
Responsibilities:
● Lead the overall planning, implementation, and monitoring of the project to ensure efficient, timely, and quality
delivery of outcomes.
● Develop clear criteria and protocols for onboarding women entrepreneurs aligned with project targets and suitability.
● Mobilize and motivate women to join the e-rickshaw initiative and enrol in training programs.
● Conduct field research and reconnaissance to design business circuits and develop a contextual business strategy.
● Coordinate with Admin, HR, and Finance teams for the recruitment and onboardPromote the initiative through
outreach to potential business partners, hotel and travel associations, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies,
support brand building and stakeholder engagement.
● Hiring of field staff, technical consultants, and setting up of project office and e-rickshaw parking infrastructure.
● Oversee daily operations of e-rickshaw driver training and ensure training quality and attendance.
● Organize and deliver soft skills sessions on tourism etiquette, hygiene, communication, and first aid; coordinate with
government departments (Tourism, RTO, Police, Traffic, Health, etc.) for driving licenses and regulatory compliance.
● Design and implement Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and MIS tools; monitor progress using indicator-based MIS
in coordination with the MIS Coordinator and ensure timely, accurate data submission.
● Maintain all necessary documentation including training records, team and entrepreneur databases, case studies, and
project reports. Capture and document project outcomes and success stories for internal and external communication.
● Manage office administrative tasks such as timesheet tracking, asset management, bill and voucher consolidation, and
compliance with financial norms.
● Track and ensure financial adherence to approved budgets for both field and office expenditures.
● Conduct regular review and planning meetings with the team to assess performance, identify bottlenecks, and
implement course corrections.
Education & Experience:
● Master’s degree from any recognized university, in Business management / Entrepreneurship Development / Finance
/ Economics.
● At least 5-7 years of relevant experience of implementing community development projects related to enterprise
development and livelihood promotion and training.
● At least 3 years of experience of managing large field implementation teams.
● Demonstrated experience of community mobilization, awareness creation, capacity building and developing business
plan.
● Experience of working in urban context.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is commensurate to industry standards and will be determined based upon experience
set of the candidate and the HR policies of the organization.
