Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution,
and monitoring of various community development projects. These include initiatives in
health (diabetes and anaemia), urban environmental resilience (heat impact mitigation),
and youth life skills development.
This role offers significant field exposure, working closely with communities, local institutions,
and project teams to deliver meaningful change. It also provides a growth pathway towards
senior project coordination and leadership roles within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
 Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing diverse themati projects.
 Conduct field visits to oversee activities, interact with communities, and ensure quality
implementation.
 Support in organizing awareness campaigns, training sessions, and workshops.
 Liaise with local stakeholders, partner organizations, and community representattives.
 Collect data, monitor project progress, and contribute to reports and presenta?ons.
 Ensure smooth logistics and documentation for all project-related activities.
 Participate in team reviews, sharing field insights to improve project strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
 Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Environmental Studies, Community
Development, or related fields.
 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or community development
(experience in health or environmental projects is an advantage).
 Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills (Marathi and English
preferred)- Non-Negotiable
 Willingness to travel extensively to project locations (30–40% field engagement).
 Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data reporting tools.
 Driven, adaptable, and passionate about contributing to social and environmental
causes.
