Job Position: Agriculture-Field Coordinator

Location: Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh

Salary: Up to 3.24 LPA

Education: Graduate /Postgraduate degree in Agriculture

Experience: At least 1-3 years of work experience in organic farming/Sustainable Agriculture/Farmers training/ Agri-Entrepreneurs

Job responsibilities:

• Identification of community-based women Resource Persons as Animal/Farmer health workers (Pashu Sakhis/ Krishi Sakhi), CRP (Community Resource Person) and deliver a training curriculum to build their knowledge and capacity on agriculture package of practices, preventive health care services to livestock, emerging as entrepreneurs at the village level
• Provide technical support to the CRP for improved agriculture practices, livestock management, and information on various government schemes and facilitate linkages with the various government departments along with building sustainable community institutions
• To increase farmer incomes through introduction of improved POPs of stable and star crops and introduction and expansion of High value Crops in the area.
• Provide training to Producer members of Groups (PGs) on various government schemes and ensure its access to them
• Developing and training a team of women CRPs and Agri-Entrepreneurs in the GPs allocated. Prepare their work plans, monitor and support them in the field and carry out verification of data submitted by them
• Work with women farmers that are formed into SHGs, Producer Groups (GPs) and Mahila Kisan Sangathans (MKS)
• Maintain all field data, records and files and submit various reports as required
• Look after all business activities that the women groups as Producer groups engage in from procurement to input supply and any kind of enterprise etc.
