Roles & Responsibilities

•  Manage English Language interventions as per the activity plan for the school (prep courses, tuitions, remedial classes).

•  Planning and executing lessons that demonstrate rigour and model the vision for the subject/ grade.

•  Creating an ambitious vision and goals for students in the classroom and/or school team.

•  Creating proof points of excellence in the classroom via planning and execution of sessions in the schools for the                required topics/subject.

•  Building School Team Culture which will facilitate sharing ideas and resources with peers as well as mentoring Junior         teachers.

•  Role modelling professional expectations.

•  Continuously improving own practice through research, mentorship and self-created learning opportunities.

•  Communicating with and investing key stakeholders like the HM, teachers and parents into the vision for students.

•  Guide and nurture children while also helping them become confident communicators.

•  Conduct talent hunts, follow up with students and report talented students to the Program Manage for further mentoring      by Funder.

•   Conduct engagement camps during summer vacation and showcase events in schools.

•   Seek inputs from Project Manager for follow-up actions in the schools based on field observations.

•   Collecting holistic data to inform short term and long term plans.

•   Seek inputs from Project Manager for follow-up actions in the schools based on field observations.

•  Conduct talent hunts, follow up with students and report talented students to the Program Manage for further mentoring      by Funder. Engage parents through parent days/ walk ins.

Qualifications & Experience

•  Graduate from Tier1/Tier 2 College / Bachelors+/B.Ed. - English and fluent in English / Masters in Literature / Masters in      Communication (English) / Masters in Journalism.

•   Multiple years of experience as an educator.

•   Shown evidence of consistent student outcomes.
