Job Position: Civil Engineer

Location: South 24 Parganas, West Bengal

A leading NGO emerging as a regional and national development organization aimed at the betterment of marginalized and vulnerable rural, semi-rural, and diversifying urban communities that depend on agro and non-farm based activities for their livelihood and progress. It has been engaged with small & marginal women farmers to improve their agricultural productivity, increase their involvement in market-linked activities, food processing & related Agri- value chain development works. In continuation to these works, 4S is going to develop women-led FPOs and looking for young and dynamic agri-business professionals who will work in close coordination with women farmers for their overall development.

Salary: Up to 50k per month

Education: B.tech/B.E in Civil Engineering

Experience: At least 4 years of work experience in Water and Sanitation/Working on construction of water body and toilet.

Job responsibilities:

• Conduct site assessments and design rainwater harvesting systems, ridge and furrow etc
• Provide engineering solutions to enhance water retention and groundwater recharge.
• Ensure quality control in construction works related to water conservation.
• Train field staff and community members in watershed management practices.
• Collaborate with government departments for technical approvals and integration with state programs
