Job Profile: Cluster Coordinator
Organisation: Samavesh Society for Development and Governance 
Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
(Preference will be given to candidates based in Bhopal)
About the Role
The Cluster Coordinator will play a key role in strengthening community-based education programs at the cluster of 6 or more Activity centres. The position focuses on supporting children’s learning from primary school to high school levels, building local leadership amongst mothers, engaging with families, and working closely with community members, teachers, and other members of the Samavesh program team.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and monitor Activity and Learning Centres (ALCs) in the community for 3 hours in the evening.
Guide and build the capacity of Balmitra to run and manage ALCs independently.
Support school enrolment and retention of children in schools in coordination with teachers and schools.
Strengthen the skills of Chote Ustad and Chote Guruji to improve children’s learning in basic language and mathematics.
Organise women’s group meetings on children’s education and health awareness.
Promote art, craft, and creative activities among children.
Establish and support guidance centres for workshops and science-based activities for community children.
Help organise meetings, trainings, and workshops to enhance children’s individual growth and social responsibility.
Participate in organising Balmela, summer camps, and community events.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity reports at the cluster level.
Support other Samavesh projects in training, monitoring, and capacity-building as required.
Desired Profile
Strong commitment to working with children and communities
Basic abilities in Hindi language and maths, of class 10th. 
Experience in children’s education, community development, or the NGO sector preferred
Good communication and coordination skills in team and community.
Willingness to work extensively in the field
Basic documentation and reporting skills
Education & Experience
Graduation and relevant experience in Education, Social Work or science teaching preferred
Prior experience in community-based programs will be an advantage
Remuneration & Tenure
Monthly remuneration: INR 16,000 - 18,000
(Negotiable based on interview performance and relevant experience)
Duration: Initially for a period of one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements
