Roles & Responsibility:

• Responsible to implement and follow up all community mobilization activities as per project
• Coordinate and conduct PRA exercise in all the select intervention areas
• To coordinate all training/orientation programs under the
• Plan and implement campaigns, regular hygiene education sessions and awareness on WASH in the target community
• Conduct capacity building trainings to relevant stakeholder as per module developed
• Periodically Collect data, analyze and submit reports
• Activation/ formation of mandated institution committees and water user groups
• Undertake discussion with the institution (school, AWC, HCF) heads on O&M and contribution
• Maintain and submit periodic activity report and regular review to track progress
• Strengthen mandated institutions and operations and management of WASH infrastructure
• Conduct community level meetings
• Mobilize contribution for infrastructure
• Monitor the infrastructure works during construction and report if any gaps.

Eligibilities and requirements:

Education:

1. Bachelor degree or above in social science from any reputed institution

Experience:

1. At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in similar organizational/ functional
2. Work experience around community mobilization, institution building and behaviour

Skills, Aptitude and Attitude:

1. Good understanding of issues pertaining to WASH/Water conservation intervention in the communities
2. Proactive and self-motivated individual capable of engaging persuasively with various stakeholders at the community level
3. A self-starter, able to work independent
4. Fluency in Local Language (Telugu) is mandatory
