Monthly Remuneration:

Up to Rs.35,000/- (Commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Ekam Foundation Mumbai is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to affordable healthcare and education for children. 

 

About Program:

Surgery Support Program (Ekam Aarogyam) provides direct financial aid to underserved children needing critical medical treatment for their health and well-being. Since inception it has helped to save lives of more than 9000+ children across 23 States in India.

 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Associate to support our Surgery Support Program. The ideal candidate will take ownership of documentation, coordination with medical social workers (MSWs), follow-up visits, and success story creation, ensuring seamless support to children in need of surgical intervention.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Documentation & Data Management

  • Maintain complete documentation for each surgery case including PIS Forms, medical records, evaluation documents, and financial bills/receipts.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely updating of the Surgery Support Program database and physical records.
  • Maintain funder-wise tracking sheets Surgery Support Program.

Coordination & Case Management

  • Coordinate closely with hospital based MSWs for timely case referrals.
  • Follow up regularly to ensure all documentation is in place before, during, and after the surgical process.
  • Assist in scheduling and tracking surgery timelines, documentation, and disbursement of funds.

Reporting & Success Stories

  • Submit daily updates to the reporting manager regarding data collected, case progress, and narrative reports.
  • Prepare 5 high-quality success stories each month, showcasing impact across various funding partners, complete with photographs and beneficiary quotes.

Field Visits

  • Conduct 4 home visits per month for in-depth case story collection, follow-up checks, and capturing photographs.
  • Conduct 4 hospital visits monthly to:
  1. Follow up on pending documentation or billing.
  2. Strengthen relationships with hospital MSWs and staff.

Administrative & IT Support

  • Maintain and update Excel trackers, funder reports, and related MIS systems as per program needs.
  • Support general administrative tasks as and when required by the organization.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum Post Graduate in Social Work / Sociology / Public Health / any relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit sectors.
  • Strong documentation and written communication skills (English, Hindi, and Marathi).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Comfortable with field travel within and outside Mumbai (hospital and home visits).
  • Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including hospitals, MSWs, and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
  • Field visits are mandatory as per monthly targets.

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Up to Rs.35,000/- per month (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Travel reimbursement for field visits as per organization norms
