Position: Community Resource Person (CRP)
Location Sonipat , Haryana 

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate the formation and strengthening of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and conduct regular monthly meetings to promote collective initiatives for rights and entitlements.

Contribute to planning, designing, and execution of water management activities, mobilizing communities for the creation and revival of water bodies, ensuring community contribution and ownership.

Support the preparation of Water Security Plans and facilitate Water Literacy among community members.

Promote collective leadership through Pani Panchayat Networks and encourage community participation in water governance.

Educate the community on water protection, conservation, and management practices.

Coordinate with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), line departments, and other government functionaries at the block and district levels.

Promote best practices in agri-water use efficiency and sustainable water resource management.

Provide technical and field support in the implementation of project interventions and maintain village-level records and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Minimum Graduate degree (preferably in  Rural Development, Agriculture, or related field).

Experience: 1–2 years of experience in community mobilization, water resource management, or rural development activities.

Skills:

Strong community engagement and facilitation skills.

Basic understanding of water conservation and agriculture practices.

Good coordination and communication skills.

Ability to maintain field-level documentation and reports.

Willingness to travel and work closely with rural communities.
