About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) in Madhya Pradesh. This role focuses on supporting the state government in undertaking large-scale educational reforms to transform foundational learning. The successful candidate will work closely with the State Project Director's office to implement a long-term roadmap aimed at fundamentally improving student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Diagnose complex problems and design first-principle solutions to drive systemic change.
- Government Collaboration: Partner with the State Government and Education Department to design, monitor, and track critical initiatives.
- Project Management: Establish robust processes and develop strategic roadmaps with clear goals and implementation plans.
- Team Oversight: Oversee on-site teams to ensure the delivery of large-scale projects and mentor team members to support their professional growth.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate interventions and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including NGOs, subject matter experts, and other state entities.
- Data-Driven Implementation: Use high-quality data and dashboards to visualize critical KPIs and facilitate monthly review structures at the state and district levels.
Academic & Professional Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputed institute in Public Policy, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience leading large-scale programs, with a preference for candidates who have worked closely with government systems.
- Problem Solving: Strong strategic thinking and data analysis skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage complex goals.
- Communication: Fluent in both English and Hindi.
- Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to align diverse stakeholders and foster a collaborative environment.
